Terms and Conditions for Chess Brains Camps

1. Registration and Payment

  • All participants must register in advance. Registration is not confirmed until full payment is received.

  • Fees are non-refundable unless the camp is canceled by the organizers.

  • In the case of cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather, instructor illness), participants will be notified promptly, and a full refund will be issued.

2. Health and Safety

  • Participants are responsible for their own health and well-being during the camp.

  • Any medical conditions, allergies, or special requirements must be disclosed during registration.

  • A nut-free policy is strictly enforced. Participants must bring their own snacks that are nut-free. Water will be provided on site.

  • First aid will be available on-site; however, parents/guardians are responsible for any further medical expenses.

3. Behavior and Conduct

  • Participants are expected to maintain respectful behavior towards instructors, staff, and fellow participants at all times.

  • Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from the camp without a refund.

  • Participants are responsible for any damages caused to the venue or equipment.

4. Photographs and Media

  • Photographs and videos may be taken during the camp for promotional and marketing purposes.

  • By registering, participants and their guardians grant permission for the use of such media in future promotions.

  • If you prefer not to have your or your child’s image used, please inform the organizers in writing before the camp begins.

5. Liability

  • The organizers, instructors, and venue are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to personal property during the camp.

  • Participants and their guardians agree to indemnify and hold harmless the camp organizers and venue from any claims arising from participation in the camp.

6. Supervision

  • Participants under the age of 18 must be dropped off and picked up by a parent or guardian at the specified times.

  • The camp is not responsible for participants outside of the scheduled camp hours.

7. Emergency Contact

  • An emergency contact must be provided during registration in case the need arises during the camp.

8. Changes to Camp Schedule

  • The camp schedule is subject to change. Participants will be notified of any significant changes in advance.

9. Force Majeure

  • The organizers are not responsible for events beyond their control that may cause the camp to be rescheduled or canceled, including but not limited to natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or pandemics.

10. Acceptance of Terms

  • By registering for the camp, participants and their guardians acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions.
